IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR LECTURERS, ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF, AND STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF LAW, UIR
Universitas Islam Riau (UIR) has once again extended the implementation of Work From Home (WFH) for lecturers and administrative staff through Circular Letter Number 3693/A-UIR/4-2026 dated 14 October 2026. This policy refers to the Rector’s Letters of Universitas Islam Riau Number 3652/A-UIR/4-2026 dated 8 October 2026 and Number 3660/A-UIR/4-2026 dated 12 October 2026, and takes into account the worsening air quality caused by haze from forest and land fires, the health of lecturers and administrative staff, and advisories from the relevant government authorities.
Implementation Period
WFH for lecturers and administrative staff of Universitas Islam Riau is extended on 15 and 16 October 2026.
Implementation Provisions
- WFH shall continue to take into account service needs, the duties and functions of each work unit, and the continuity of academic and administrative activities.
- Lectures may be conducted online or remotely in accordance with the provisions and policies in force at Universitas Islam Riau.
- All previously scheduled agendas and activities shall continue to be carried out in accordance with the applicable schedules, provisions, and procedures.
This circular letter is intended to be followed and implemented by every work unit within Universitas Islam Riau.
