About the Law Study Program
The Law Study Program of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Islam Riau (FH UIR), is a bachelor's (S1) program that provides high-quality legal education with a national and global orientation, grounded in Islamic values and piety.
FH UIR is committed to producing graduates who not only master law academically but are also able to apply it professionally and ethically in social, national, and state life.
Supported by 69 experienced lecturers and a curriculum based on KKNI/SN-Dikti 2025, FH UIR provides comprehensive preparation through 6 areas of legal specialization relevant to the needs of industry and government.

Admission Pathways for the Bachelor of Laws
FH UIR opens several selection pathways for new student admissions each academic year.
PMDK Pathway (Report Card Grades)
Selection based on academic achievement through senior high school (SMA/MA/SMK) report card grades, without a written test.
✍️ Entrance Exam (UM) Pathway
Selection through a written exam organized by Universitas Islam Riau.
Partnership Pathway
A special pathway for applicants from institutions or regions that have an MoU with UIR.
General Admission Requirements
Requirements that apply to all new student admission pathways.
- Graduate of SMA / MA / SMK or equivalent (or graduating in the current year)
- Legalized photocopies of diploma and transcript
- Photocopy of ID card (KTP) / Family Card
- Recent passport photos: 3×4 (4 sheets) and 2×3 (2 sheets)
- Complete the online registration form at pmb.uir.ac.id
- Pay the registration fee for the chosen pathway
- Not currently registered as an active student at another university
KIP-Kuliah Scholarship
A scholarship from the Ministry of Education for high-achieving students from low-income families.
UIR Achievement Scholarship
An internal UIR scholarship for students with academic or non-academic achievements.
Qur'an Memorizer (Hafidz) Scholarship
A special scholarship for prospective students who have memorized at least 10 juz of the Qur'an.
Regional Scholarship
A scholarship in partnership with regional governments in Riau Province and surrounding areas.
General Scholarship Requirements
