IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR LECTURERS, ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF, AND STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF LAW, UIR
Universitas Islam Riau has once again extended the implementation of Work From Home (WFH) for lecturers and administrative staff through Circular Letter Number 3752/A-UIR/4-2026 dated 19 October 2026. This policy refers to the Letter of the Head of LLDikti Region XVII Number 1607/DST/LL17/HK.04/2026 dated 15 October 2026 concerning the Appeal for Distance Learning (PJJ) Due to Declining Air Quality, as well as the Rector’s Letters Number 3652/A-UIR/4-2026 dated 8 October 2026, Number 3660/A-UIR/4-2026 dated 12 October 2026, and Number 3693/A-UIR/4-2026 dated 14 October 2026.
Implementation Period
WFH for lecturers and administrative staff of Universitas Islam Riau is extended again from 19 to 21 October 2026.
Implementation Provisions
- WFH implementation must continue to take into account service needs, the duties and functions of work units, and the continuity of academic and administrative activities.
- Lectures may be conducted online or remotely in accordance with the provisions and policies in force at Universitas Islam Riau.
- All student activities, field practicums, sports, and other outdoor activities are temporarily postponed or suspended.
- All activities and agendas previously scheduled will continue to be carried out in accordance with the applicable schedules, provisions, and procedures.
This circular letter is intended to be used as a guideline and implemented in every work unit within Universitas Islam Riau.
