February 26, 2025 – The Faculty of Law (FH) at Universitas Islam Riau (UIR) has successfully maintained its ISO 9001:2015 certification. This information was conveyed by the Head of the Law Faculty Study Program at UIR, Dr. Selvi Harvia Santri, S.H., M.H., to the UIR public relations team on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.
ISO 9001:2015 is a certification issued by an international standards organization for quality management systems (QMS). The Faculty of Law at UIR first obtained this certification in 2016 and undergoes surveillance audits every two years. This marks the faculty’s fifth certification renewal.
“Today, the Faculty of Law conducted an ISO audit, and alhamdulillah, UIR’s Faculty of Law has successfully maintained its ISO 9001:2015 certification,” said Dr. Selvi Harvia Santri, S.H., M.H.
The audit process was attended by Vice Dean I, Dr. Rosyidi Hamzah, S.H., M.H.; Vice Dean II, Dr. Desi Apriani, S.H., M.H.; Vice Dean III, S. Parman, S.H., M.H.; Head of Study Program, Dr. Selvi Harvia Santri, S.H., M.H.; Secretary of the Study Program, Moza Della Fudika, S.H., M.H.; Head of UPM, Lidia Febrianti, S.H., M.H.; and Secretary of the Study Program, Dr. Umi Muslikhah, S.H., M.H.
This achievement significantly supports FH UIR in promoting itself to the public. Currently, UIR has two faculties that have been ISO 9001:2015 certified: the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Islamic Studies (FAI). (hms/smh)
