Faculty of Law UIR Organizes Book Review and Professor Retirement Tribute Event

Faculty of Law Universitas Islam Riau will hold a Book Review and Professor Retirement Tribute event as a form of academic appreciation for the dedication and intellectual contributions of Prof. Dr. Hj. Ellydar Chaidir, S.H., M.Hum in the development of legal studies in Indonesia.

The event will feature the book entitled Substantive Democracy: Paradigms of Law, Government, and Politics and is organized in conjunction with her retirement towards becoming Professor Emeritus. This event serves as a moment of academic reflection as well as a scientific discussion forum for the academic community in understanding the development of law, governance, and politics from the perspective of substantive democracy.

A Form of Appreciation for Academic Dedication

This book review event is a collaboration among the Undergraduate, Master’s, and Doctoral Programs in Law at UIR as a tribute to Prof. Dr. Hj. Ellydar Chaidir’s long-standing dedication to higher education and the advancement of legal scholarship.

In addition to serving as an academic forum to discuss the contents of the book, this activity is also expected to inspire students, lecturers, and the entire academic community regarding the importance of scholarly contributions in building a democratic legal and governmental system.

Participants will also receive a free E-Certificate, and the event is open to all members of the Universitas Islam Riau academic community.
