Pekanbaru, October 24, 2025 – The Faculty of Law, Universitas Islam Riau (UIR), held the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) Signing Ceremony between the Ikatan Cendekiawan Muslim Indonesia (IKMI) Pekanbaru City and the Faculty of Law UIR, on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Room 1.04, Faculty of Law Building.
The event was also accompanied by a Spiritual Development Workshop, attended by lecturers, educational staff, and students of the Faculty of Law UIR. The workshop featured H. Edi Azhar, S.Ag., M.Pd.I as the speaker, who delivered an insightful session on strengthening faith and spirituality within the academic environment.
In his opening remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Law UIR emphasized that this collaboration marks an important step in enhancing institutional partnerships and reinforcing spiritual values among the university community. “Through this program, we not only build cooperation but also nurture moral and spiritual awareness within our academic community,” he stated.
During his session, H. Edi Azhar highlighted the importance of maintaining a balance between intellectual and spiritual intelligence, encouraging all participants to become individuals with integrity and noble character.
The event concluded with the distribution of certificates of participation to attendees. Through this activity, the Faculty of Law UIR reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a religious, professional, and ethical academic environment for its lecturers, staff, and students.
