Pekanbaru – The Faculty of Law, Universitas Islam Riau (FH UIR), organized a Capacity Building Workshop for Lecturers and the Development of Open Course Ware (OCW) materials, held over three days from December 1 to 3, 2025. This activity reflects FH UIR’s strong commitment to improving the quality of learning and advancing curriculum development based on Outcome-Based Education (OBE).
The workshop was facilitated by Universitas Islam Riau and attended by several lecturers from the Faculty of Law. The participants included Dr. Selvi Harvia Santri, SH., MH; Dr. Umi Muslikhah, SH., MH; Dr. Raja Febrina Andarika, SH., MH; and Moza Della Fudika, SH., MH.
Through this workshop, lecturers were provided with knowledge and practical skills in designing and developing structured, high-quality Open Course Ware (OCW) learning materials aligned with OBE principles. The development of OCW materials is expected to support a more innovative, transparent, and accessible learning process for students.
In addition, the workshop served as a forum for discussion and the exchange of experiences among lecturers, aimed at strengthening academic capacity and enhancing the professionalism of teaching staff within the Faculty of Law, Universitas Islam Riau.
With the successful implementation of this activity, the Faculty of Law of Universitas Islam Riau hopes to further enhance the quality of learning and curriculum relevance, in line with academic and professional demands, and to produce graduates who are competent, adaptive, and competitive.
