Pekanbaru, October 2, 2025 – The Faculty of Law, Universitas Islam Riau (FH UIR), in collaboration with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia, Riau Regional Office, organized an event entitled “Intellectual Property Dissemination in the Region” with the theme “Secure Innovation, Register Creations through Copyright.”
The program took place on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Room 1.04, Faculty of Law UIR. This activity aims to enhance the understanding of the academic community regarding the importance of copyright protection in supporting the creation of innovation and competitive creative works.
Through this dissemination, participants gained direct knowledge about the procedures for registering intellectual property, the legal benefits it provides, and the protection efforts to ensure that innovative works of students and lecturers are not misused.
This collaboration between FH UIR and the Ministry of Law and Human Rights Riau is expected to foster a culture of legal awareness in the field of intellectual property while strengthening the university’s role in producing academic works, research, and innovations of significant value.
