The Faculty of Law, Universitas Islam Riau (FH UIR), through its Student Organizations (ORMAWA) and Student Activity Units (UKM), once again demonstrated social concern by distributing humanitarian aid to victims of natural disasters in several regions of Sumatra, including Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra.
The donation was delivered through DT Peduli, Riau Representative Office, as a follow-up to the fundraising activities previously carried out by students of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Islam Riau. The assistance consisted of cash donations totaling IDR 19,630,000 as well as proper clothing, collected from the academic community of FH UIR.
This initiative reflects the solidarity and empathy of the FH UIR academic community toward communities affected by natural disasters. The Faculty of Law, Universitas Islam Riau, extends its deepest condolences to all victims and prays that Allah SWT grants strength, patience, and protection to those affected by the disasters.
It is hoped that the donated funds and supplies will help ease the burden of the victims and support urgent needs during the emergency response period. Moreover, this activity serves as a learning experience for students in cultivating humanitarian values, social responsibility, and a spirit of mutual cooperation.
