Pekanbaru, September 3, 2025 – The Faculty of Law, Universitas Islam Riau (UIR), held a Farewell and Welcome Ceremony for the Dean of the Faculty of Law as well as a Gathering of the Big Family of FH-UIR on Wednesday (03/09/2025), at Room 1.04, Faculty of Law Building UIR. The event was filled with warmth and togetherness, attended by faculty leaders, lecturers, staff, students, and alumni.
The ceremony served as a moment to honor Assoc. Prof. Dr. M. Musa, S.H., M.H., who completed his term as Dean of the Faculty of Law UIR for the 2021–2025 period. Under his leadership, various programs and achievements were successfully realized for the advancement of the faculty.
At the same time, the academic community warmly welcomed Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rosyidi Hamzah, S.H., M.H. as the new Dean of the Faculty of Law UIR for the 2025–2029 term. Great expectations were expressed for him to further develop the faculty, enhance its achievements, and strengthen its competitiveness at the national and international levels.
The event concluded with a friendly gathering of the Faculty of Law community, further strengthening the bonds of togetherness and commitment to supporting the new leadership for the progress of the faculty in the future.
