The Faculty of Law, Universitas Islam Riau (UIR), held a Handover Ceremony for Vice Deans, Heads and Secretaries of the Study Program, and Heads of Major Research Divisions on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Room 1.05, Faculty of Law UIR. This event marked a significant moment in maintaining leadership continuity and strengthening institutional governance within the Faculty of Law.
The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rosyidi Hamzah, S.H., M.H., together with the Vice Deans, namely:
Dr. Selvi Harvia Santri, S.H., M.H. – Vice Dean I for Academic Affairs
Dr. Zulfikri Toguan, S.H., M.H. – Vice Dean II for Administration and Resources
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zulkarnaini Umar, S.H., S.Ag., M.I.S. – Vice Dean III for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation
The event also featured the official handover for the Head and Secretary of the Law Study Program, namely:
Head of Law Study Program: Esy Kurniasih, S.H., M.H.
Secretary of Law Study Program: Moza Dela Fudika, S.H., M.H.
Additionally, the Faculty introduced the new Heads of Major Research Divisions, who will play a key role in advancing scholarly research and academic development within their respective fields:
Dr. Teguh Rama Prasja, S.H., M.H. – Head of Civil Law Division
Dr. Endang Suparta, S.H., M.H. – Head of Criminal Law Division
Lidia Febrianti, S.H., M.H. – Head of Business Law Division
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Asri Muhammad Saleh, S.H., M.Hum. – Head of Constitutional Law Division
Abdul Hadi Anshary, S.H., M.H. – Head of Administrative Law Division
S. Parman, S.H., M.H. – Head of International Law Division
In his remarks, the Dean expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the outgoing officials for their dedication and contributions, and extended his congratulations to the newly appointed leaders to continue fostering innovation and collaboration in advancing the Faculty of Law, Universitas Islam Riau, toward greater excellence and competitiveness.
The event concluded with a joint prayer and photo session, symbolizing the collective commitment of the Faculty’s academic community to achieving its vision as a leading and competitive center for legal education at the national and international levels.
