Pekanbaru, June 26, 2025 – In celebration of the Islamic New Year 1447 H and the 62nd Anniversary of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Islam Riau (UIR) held an ESQ Seminar with the theme “Strengthen Faith, Knowledge, and Work Performance for Institutional Advancement”. The seminar took place on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Hotel Royal Asnof, Pekanbaru.
The event was attended by professors, lecturers, and educational staff from the Faculty of Law. It aimed to instill spiritual values, enhance academic enthusiasm, and strengthen work ethic as a form of devotion to the institution, religion, and nation.
The keynote speaker, Coach Saprianto, delivered an inspiring and motivational session. He emphasized the importance of building inner integrity and spirituality in the workplace. He encouraged all participants to view their work as a form of worship and a meaningful contribution to institutional growth.
A key message highlighted during the seminar was: “Working at Universitas Islam Riau is my devotion to Allah, my nation, and my country,” supported by a Qur’anic verse: “And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.” (Qur’an 51:56)
Through this event, the Faculty of Law at UIR aspires to foster a professional, harmonious, and spiritually driven academic environment in line with the values of Islam as a blessing for the universe.
