IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR LECTURERS, EDUCATION STAFF, AND STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF LAW, UIR
Universitas Islam Riau has extended the implementation of Work From Home (WFH) for lecturers and education staff through Circular Letter Number 3660/A-UIR/4-2026 dated 12 October 2026. This policy is based on the Rector’s Letter of Universitas Islam Riau Number 3652/A-UIR/4-2026 dated 8 October 2026, and takes into account worsening air quality caused by smoke from forest and land fires, the health of lecturers and education staff, and advisories from the competent government authorities.
Implementation Period
WFH for lecturers and education staff of Universitas Islam Riau is extended from 12 to 14 October 2026.
Implementation Provisions
- WFH implementation must continue to take into account service needs, the duties and functions of each work unit, and the continuity of academic and administrative activities.
- Lectures may be conducted online or remotely in accordance with the regulations and policies in force at Universitas Islam Riau.
- All previously scheduled agendas and activities will continue to be carried out in accordance with the applicable schedules, regulations, and procedures.
This circular letter is intended to be used as a guideline and implemented in every work unit within Universitas Islam Riau.
